Braves manager Brian Snitker is thrown out of the ballgame after arguing a called third strike for the final out of the 6th inning
After surrendering just one hit in wildly effective fashion through the first six innings, Marlins starter Jose Urena saw the Braves open a four-run seventh with consecutive singles. Nick Markakis' two-run single off Nick Wittgren gave Atlanta a lead until Ozuna drilled a game-tying, two-run homer off Jose Ramirez in the eighth.
Folty's 0-2 woes: Foltynewicz had retired six straight batters before surrendering a hit to two of the first three batters in the sixth inning. Ozuna then fell behind with an 0-2 count before drawing a walk to load the bases for Bour, who laced a two-run single on an 0-2 fastball.
Ozuna was 0-for-9 in the series before his two-run homer tied the game at 4 in the eighth. Braves manager Brian Snitker was ejected by home-plate umpire Chris Segal after Adams struck out looking to end the sixth inning. Snitker bounced out of the dugout with his arms raised, indicating he had been tossed for saying something from the bench.
Matt Kemp went 1-for-3 with a walk in his return to the Braves' lineup after left hamstring tightness kept him out for three days. He played the entire game and looked fluid running the bases and in the field.
Marlins: The Marlins open a three-game series with the Nationals at 7:10 p.m. ET on Monday at Marlins Park. Justin Nicolino (0-1, 4.15 ERA) will come off the disabled list and make the start for Miami. Tanner Roark (6-4, 4.39 ERA) starts for Washington.
Braves: R.A. Dickey takes the mound at 7:35 p.m. ET on Monday as the Braves open a four-game series against the Giants at SunTrust Park. Dickey has a 4.15 ERA there, but the Braves have won his last three home starts.
