October 15, 2020 - Canadian Business today ranked Ahava Digital Group No. 12th on the 32nd annual Growth List, the definitive ranking of Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies. Produced by Canada's premier business and current affairs media brands, the Growth List ranks Canadian businesses on five-year revenue growth. Growth List winners are profiled in a special print issue of Canadian Business published with Maclean's magazine and online at CanadianBusiness.com and GrowthList.ca.
Ahava Digital Group made the 2020 Growth List with five-year revenue growth of 8283%. "The companies on the 2020 Growth List are really exceptional. Their stories are a masterclass in how to survive when the economy throws a curveball. Despite turbulence, the 2020 Growth List companies showed resilience, spirit and, most importantly, empathy and strong leadership," says Susan Grimbly, Growth List Editor. "As we celebrate over 30 years of Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies program, it's encouraging to see that the heart of Canada's entrepreneurial community beats strong, even in tough times."
"Ahava Digital Group is honoured to be on the Growth List ranking," says Founder & CEO, Dr. Janet Aizenstros. "This achievement reflects the strength of our service and the dedication of our team globally."
The most astonishing feat for Ahava Digital Group has been achieving this rank which reveals that Dr. Janet Aizenstros is the first Black woman in Canadian history to have founded and scaled a 9-figure tech organization globally. Modestly, she retreated from further conversation about her past and current achievements. However, after speaking with leaders' within the organization, the true discovery is clear that Ahava Digital's success comes from their intentional commitment to DEIB (diversity, equality, inclusivity and belonging) by this leader's visionary guidance. Aizenstros has organically (but strategically) grown Ahava Digital Group into a company that touches more than 15 countries across the globe. Her conscious focus is displayed by the company's initiatives. Aizenstros is a signatory with the United Nations Business Action Hub (UNBAH) for the United Nations Global Compact, a patron within Concordia Leadership Council and a recent winner for the 2020 Stevie® Awards for Female Entrepreneur of the Year for Canada.
