The Chiefs made some roster moves this week

The Kansas City Chiefs made a handful of roster moves on Tuesday with the signings of offensive lineman Joey Lombard and tight end Geor'Quarius Spivey.
Lombard and Spivey both attended mandatory minicamp last week on a tryout basis, and while nothing was initially guaranteed beyond Thursday's practice, each player clearly did enough to earn a longer look.
Lombard, a rookie from the University of South Dakota, started 48 games primarily at center during his time with the Coyotes. He earned All-America honors for his efforts in 2024. A tryout participant in Kansas City's rookie minicamp earlier this offseason as well, he'll now have an opportunity to show what he can do during training camp next month.
Spivey is back for his second stint with the Chiefs after spending a portion of last year's training camp with Kansas City. Spivey was waived as part of final cuts prior to the season, and in the time since, he spent time with the Houston Roughnecks in the UFL.
In a pair of corresponding moves, the Chiefs released offensive guard Tremayne Anchrum and waived tight end Kevin Foelsch.
